MA (New England Conservatory)
BA (University of Kansas)

From The Strokes to Sinatra, the Whisky A Gogo to the Berliner Philharmonie, Breanna is a singer and multi-instrumentalist who has enjoyed an international career weaving in and out of various genres. She was principal horn at the Bulgarian State Opera Държавна Опера Стара Загора, studied music and pedagogy with the renowned Frøydis Ree Wekre in Norway, and busked accordion alongside dancing Kukeri. Her brass diddles hail from Boston, Massachusetts, where she studied under full scholarship for her master's degree at the New England Conservatory. She got her piano performance degree at the University of Kansas School of Music and her trippy improv chops in Tornado Alley. She writes her own weird music (breannaellison.com) and loves anything in the pocket, harmonically / melodically rich, and innovative.
